An ad featuring a gay couple has appeared on major networks for the first time in Poland, as well as Slovakia, Czech Republic and Lithuania.
The Durex condom ad features real-life married couple Jakub and Dawid Mycek-Kwiecinski, who we covered in April after they started handing out free pride masks.

How odd to obsess about that. The age of consent in Poland is 15. I didn’t see anyone who looked remotely that young in the video. But it would make sense if a condom commercial was in fact explicitly directed toward an audience even younger than that, since young people DO have sex, and their need to prevent pregnancy is probably even more critical than it is for older people.

The commercial wasn’t that “steamy”, but I hope it got the message across. I watch the two other videos Jakub and Dawid posted. I wish there were English translations from their Polish. Both serve as a message to everyone that gay rights should be world wide. Cheers.
