Is this sexy pool-party video too racy for YouTube?
Underwear designer Andrew Christian is peeved that the site removed his latest underwear ad, “Pink Paradise,” and, to add insult to injury, suspended his channel for two weeks because of it.
In an open letter to YouTube, Andrew Christian accuses the video giant of permitting “blatant female nudity and sexual scenarios with millions of views,” wondering, “are you being homophobic or is it something else?”
In any case, the video is hot hot hot and we’re glad the free-wheeling Vimeo is around to host it. And, to be fair to YouTube, we can see clear outlines of dick through those boys’ wet undies, especially when there are closeups of them getting out of the pool. Not that we mind!
If Andrew really wants to pull the homophobic card on YouTube, he might have to tone it down just a wee bit. Andrew claims this Playboy mansion pool-party video shows as much female skin, but there’s not wet T-shirt contest aspect to it, as there is here. But there are a bunch of poorly-shot wet t-shirt vids—maybe the HD realness of Andrew Christian’s (and the fact that exposed penis is far less charted territory than exposed boob) got YouTube’s goat?

I think Andrew Christian has a point. There are tons of videos showing females acting provocatively on YouTube, with their sexual organs (including breasts, which are such organs) on display as far as cleavage is concerned. Yet YouTube allows them without qualms.
There’s definitely a homophobic element to YouTube which needs to be investigated. It’s as if YouTube is afraid of male sensuality which has the power to titillate both men and women.

I just became a fan of Andrew Christian after the Car Wash video and I have to say, their videos are creative and HOT and their underwear feel amazing on!

The videos linked above have mostly been removed already as well because they broke the policy. So all he did was get other people hit the same way.
Youtube is not biased or run by teens. Whining when you know you’re breaking their policy is immature.

Youtube almost certainly removes videos only if there is a complaint. The problem is that American puritans like to complain, and anything that seems gay-related will set them off.
If you take the number of videos on youtube (do a google search for “site:youtube.com” and you will get 1,520,000,000 results (approximately). You’d need an army to search through all that to check each one. There’s no way youtube can do that.

The viewers of YouTube are the homophobic people so there allegations might be a little misplaced. Regardless there is definitely a double standard for male nudity compared to female nudity.

I am sick of seeing women’s breasts (which are sexual/reproductive organs) being permitted whereas anything that indicates male sensuality is censored.

Keep in mind that YouTube completely removed LMFAO’s Sexy And I Know It video some weeks back. It’s been restored but with a sign-in required.
The video for this song doesn’t show anything that you wouldn’t see at the beach. However, because it contains men in Speedos (shock, horror), it was censored.
YouTube seems to have a policy against male sensuality that appeals to both men and women.

Andrew Christian seems to be onto something, but i think they need to tame down the gayness, just a little bit. Then they could really change the whole concept of advertising. Meaning that finally men can be shown in very sexual ways the way that women have always been. Gay men and straight women will rejoice!

Some of the lowest are near the coast around San Francisco and (I think) LA – one county in Southern California. Unfortunately, when I tried to look at a state-level map, I got an error message – some sort of problem with the web site.
http://www.countyhealthrankings.org/california/san-mateo/11 has a table showing the breakdown by California county. Marin County and San Francisco County has the lowest obesity rate in the whole state, just slightly better than Santa Cruz County and San Mateo County (both immediately to the south). Santa Clara County was a bit higher (probably due to the southern end of the county – the part south of San Francisco Bay. The fattest counties were in California’s Bible Belt. Santa Cruz in particular is a popular spot for surfers to hang out.
San Francisco has several things going for it (besides gays who want to look hot): hills and horrible parking, which means that people drive less and thus walk more. The combination means a fair bit of exercise just getting around during the day. LA has all the people who want to be in the movies (aspiring actors, especially untalented ones, want to look attractive).
These aren’t trivial differences – the extremes differ by a factor of 2, with the “sinners” in “16% obesity rate” San Francisco avoiding the “sin” of gluttony far more than the righteous Christians in “32% obesity rate” Tulare County, more or less the capital of California’s Bible Belt.

Sorry to be offensive. I am just a little bit sensitive about my weight. I used to weigh 322 lbs, but I am now down to a svelte 278 lbs of pure manly bearish beauty. I tried once putting on one of those sexy throng swimsuits but the back part of it got stuck in my butt and I had to go to the hospital to have it surgically removed. Last time I do that — ouch!
Anyway, I am not a fundamentalist Christian so I suppose all those stereotypes about fat-ass fundies are not always true. Still, even though I am an atheist, I am still praying to one day be thin enough to be able to look down and see my penis again. Wish me luck!
