Pete Davidson finally got his own Netflix comedy special and the trailer is very gay-focused.
We have to assume Davidson tackles subjects other than his gay friends over the course of the show, but you sure wouldn’t know it by watching the minute-long promo.

WTF is this?

Looks super sketchy to me.

Nope. Pete, promoting stereotypes is NOT funny. Neither me nor my friends would do any slap and tickle with a female friend. I’ll skip your concert. Many more gay positive shows on Netflix.

it’s a joke

1.) it’s comedy. Drag shows sell more stereotypes every night of the week in NYC and I love them.
2.) he clearly doesn’t say all gay men. He says that one friend. Maybe you don’t know that one friend but I have known and have been that one friend when I was in my 20’s. LOL

Pete Davidson is not funny. He plays the same bewildered, stoner character on SNL every single time. And this special just looks stupid and outdated. Go away, Pete.

I want to be able to grab his 10″ package!
He is spot on…I love ticking off my straight friends by cupping a female friends boobs. It’s all in good fun. Kinda sorta like Gay privilege
🙂

Not even going to waste my time getting close to that show, Pete Davidson is not at all funny I can’t stand him nor do I care to even start to try, not many I will say that about him but I think he’s on something that he shouldn’t be taking.

All you negative beyotches crack me up! Can’t wait to be negative and critical. Pete is hilarious and his stand-up special looks hilarious.

Exactly!

I was never a fan of his but this looks hilarious so I’ll be tuning in. As a straight man who works in a gay environment, have many gay friends, and attends many gay events, I have to say he’s spot on. Those of you who slam him for using stereotypes obviously don’t know that stereotypes are a foundation of comedy. And that includes queer comedy by gay comedians. Or gay-friendly straight comedians. I don’t see you guys slamming Margaret Cho or Kathy Griffin for their observational comedy which rely heavily on stereotypes.

I am know I am swimming upstream with this, but this trailer actually elicited an out loud laugh by me. I will tune in.
