In Marcel Gisler new film, Mario, prospective pro footballers Leon and Mario find love on and off the pitch. When their union is discovered by the rest of their team, things get complicated.
That’s the general breakdown of the film, but it’s packed with nuance and a real sense of chemistry between its two stars, Aaron Altaras and Max Hubacher.

Meh…the sex scene is more like child daycare activities. Nothing compares to the multiple raw scenes between two beautiful men (not boys) in ‘The Dream Children’.

It’s fine. Works exactly as the film is intended to. Well done to the entire crew.

Agree, the movie really lacked focus, could have been really hot. Like Dream Childre.

Looks very promising, at least from what a 2 min trailer can tell us about a film. Are there any other full length films about high profile football couple? Swiss? The German sounds more German than Swiss. Anyway, good to see it has already garnered a few prizes. Ich freue mich auf ..

I watched the movie and loved it. The chemestry between the boys is perfect. The storyline is interesting however sad. It ends in despair.

Haven’t seen it yet, but looking forward to it. As far as sex scenes, its trying to adhere to industry standards at some level. If I want raw scenes, I’ll get porn.

I found it for rent on FandangoNow but nowhere else yet.

Excellent film, writing, acting, believability. Saw it at Frameline Film Festival in SF last summer. Catch it if you can!

I prefer dubbed movies rather than subtitled. Say so on the box or in the description of the move ex. Italian with english subtitles or Italian dubbed into english..otherwise I buy a movie and I never know what I’m getting.. I’ll pass on subtitles there have been very rare occasions I’ve watched one..I know I’m missing out on some terrific titles ..just a preference that’s all…done with my 2 cents.

There was a South American TV series called “Botineras”, dealt with the same topic. Well done series. Can’t wait to see this one.
