Michael DelRay and Dante Colle, two well-know gay adult video performers, recently encountered a few antigay protestors on the Santa Monica Pier in California. The protestors yelled into a megaphone, held signs reading, “Where will you spend eternity? The fool has said, ‘There is no God.’ Repent or Perish,” and one of them wore a “Trust Jesus” t-shirt.
But instead of repenting or perishing, DelRay and Colle decided to start kissing in front of the protestors, going so far as to rip off their shirts, hop on one another and basically start humping in the middle of the boardwalk. One protestor looked away, but the one on the megaphone just got louder and louder, presumably to distract others from the two guys getting to first base together.
In a tweet, Colle wrote, “I asked these Anti Gay preachers how to be forgiven for our sins. ‘Theres no helping you guys,’ he says…
Well. Might as well enjoy it then…”

Colle and DelRay are friends who post pics together and comment on each others’ Twitter pages. The two men had previously performed in a scene together for the studio Icon Male.

If Colle’s name sounds familiar, it could be because he recently appeared on VICE’s new docu series Slutever, discussing the stigma that bisexual adult film performers face. He said:
“There’s some homophobia on the straight side. So when they see a crossover performer, a lot of the straight studios and the straight performers don’t want to associate with you. But there’s a stigma on the gay side too. It’s so much more okay for women to do that, why can’t it be for men?”
Colle was also one of the adult stars recently subjected to FaceApp’s aging filter, showing how he’ll look when he’s a sexy grandpa.

Making out and “dry humping” is part of loving someone. We can’t do it publicly in many places. They could. Good for them. I do all the things you mentioned, and also have a post graduate education and professional career – but you know something, my partner and I still hold hands, and yes, kiss – in some places even in public. I have engaged street preachers because part of my educational background is in theology, but I guarantee they got under his skin better than I do.

When I was younger, it was part of my job to take clients of my company out, wine and dine them, get them loosened up and have a good time before getting down to the brass tacks of a business deal,
and though at times I enjoyed hanging with some of those clients, it still felt very much like work, however, doing those exact same things with the person I loved was always enjoyable, mutually desired and way more fun and satisfying.

I think they’re “bisexual/pansexual/fluid” but claim to have sexual preferences towards women and only have romantic passions, affections and relationship ambitions towards females. That’s “straight with a side of quirkiness/queerness/freakiness” in my book. But everyone sees this stuff differently. Therefore, I do question how much of this was mostly about wanting attention and about getting “gay cred”. Then again, I would question that even if it were two “proudly gay” dudes. And they’re porn performers. So, of course, they always want attention. The protesters however were ridiculous.

I don’t think either embraces bi or gay identities. Though I doubt they’re truly “gay4pay”. They’re basically “queers” who just aren’t that into guys, but use homosexual/homo-leaning/homo-romantic/gay men to further their agendas, keep their bank accounts full, and keep them in the spotlight. It is what it is. But sexual behaviors alone do not equate to attractions or passions or even enjoyment, especially when money is involved. Never mind the rest of the spectrum. Furthermore, it’s impossible to know what these porn performers are about and what motivates them beyond money and attention.

The real irony here is the jackass railing with his microphone, spewing out about as much anti-Christian excrement as one can imagine. As an ordained graduate theologian who received my graduate degree from seminary, I will say this loudly and clearly: ONLY GOD determines who goes to hell, if in fact there is such a place after life. The people who make such pronouncements, whether from the pulpit or on the boardwalk are the heretics and false prophets God created gays/lesbian/bi/etc. just as God created everyone else.

I laughed when they made out and dry humped in public, but at the same time it was a little reactionary. It won’t change the anti-gay person’s mind. In fact it will only enforce it because of the over sexual display. If they really wanted to prove a point, then a simple kiss like any heterosexual couple would’ve been more effective.
