In November, Yoko Ono teamed up with New York fashion label Opening Ceremony for a capsule menswear line that included tank tops with nipple cutouts, assless pants and a jock strap with an LED light on it.
If that wasn’t outre enough, now Ono has produced a promo video for Opening Ceremony that’s a makeup tutorial for men with some, um, interesting “tips” about breathing rainbows and throwing away mirrors.
We’re not talking guyliner, folks.

For those of you saying you don’t know who she is, that’s on you, not here. MS was huge alt-folk scene in late 80s and across the 1990s. She frames herself as a populist/activist in the Pete Seger tradition.
She is very active in the Occupy movement and toured the US last year raising money for local Occupy groups. I even saw one of these shows, and thought it was weird she pulled out an iphone and called her boyfriend, sang his praises as her partner, dedicated a song to him, had his art hanging on the wall behind her, and made us listen to them have a phone call. I mean, Jesus, way to make your “alt-occupy-anarchy” tour heteronormative to the max…..
And she has a documented history of mental problems, acting out, walking off stage, (think Sinead O’Connor, etc.)
So basically, she just ended her career …. for the last time.
