Wayne Mahlke, the gay former aide to disgraced face-slashing ex-Sen. Hiram Monserrate, and founder of the Lesbian and Gay Democratic Club of Queens, tried finagling his way out of an arrest after berating a street cop and then flashing a forged police placard claiming he out ranked the police officer. She didn’t buy it, and Mahlke now faces seven years for the failed stunt. He was also driving without a valid license. Dumbass. [NYDN]

How Democratic of him.

Wayne Mahlke wasn’t the founder of the Lesbian and Gay Democratic Club of Queens, though he may have been an early member. He hasn’t been active in the three years or so that we’ve been members. He burned his bridges with Queens gays when he defended his boss’s abuse of his girlfriend as “an accident,” and when he stuck with him after he torpedoed senate approval of marriage equality. With Mahlke and Monserrate both, “principe” seemsto mean what benefits them at the moment.

“principle” seems to mean, that is. Bad typing.
