We don’t care what point they’re trying to make. The only thing these Westboro Baptist Church members prove by dressing up in cosplay as Gandalf and Dumbledore is that they’re struggling with their own feelings of same sex attraction. And boy they must be really confused.
There is no other reason anyone would feel so compelled to think about gay marriage this much.
It started when Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling endorsed a very hypothetical Irish union between her character Albus Dumbledore and Gandalf from Lord of the Rings, played in the film by legendary out actor Sir Ian McKellen. You know, fiction.
Westboro Baptist threatened to picket the wedding, because they have nothing better to do than troll the internet.
Rowling fired back, saying “the sheer awesomeness of such a union in such a place would blow your tiny bigoted minds out of your thick sloping skulls.”
And that’s how this entered the world — a Vine from Westboro of two definitely-not-gay church members playing dress up and saying “Fags shall not marry.” Clever, guys.

Westburro Bumblers… always good for a giggle or laugh. Were they not so lackluster, some people might even pity them!
Redpalacebulleaglesox
This has to rate right down there with Fallwell (he did that often) and Tinky-Winky. The question that must be asked is, “How incredibly moronic are they?”
Nightwolfe
You would tink they could at least do better in the costume department, bathrobe and mop hair, really?
Witchcraft and Sorcerers infiltrating Westboro?

Amazing that, since the old man died, these folks are still around. Ignore them because they are totally irrelevant.

Pseudo-Dumbledore’s final comment serves as the best critique of this mess: “Scary.”
Scary is right.
Bad Ass Biker
As they are such bible thumpers I am surprised that they would read a book or see a movie about witchcraft. I thought that was forbidden to them.
dubstepskater94
So I wonder which one of these two “not-gay bible thumpers” is the top and which one is the bottom… js
Xzamilio
@dubstepskater94: Yeah, I’d rather not wonder that with those two
GG
The phrase “Fags shall not marry” does not appear in the bible. Not in any version of the bible.
But then, these haters have never allowed facts to diminish their brand of crazy.

If the media, hungry always for sensational and worthless stories, would cease headlining quack and moronic news from insane headline seekers like Westboro Baptist Church we might just have a prejudice-free press.

Expelliamus!
Or should that be Expel your anus?
Mack
Well one thing for sure, they had a very low budget.
Hermes
So sad, they are just so sad.
jwtraveler
Good to see they’re getting a little more creative.

“Dumbledore, is that splooge on your beard?”
Zombie_Killer
Well they must have been awful actors as they needed to put on name tags to identify their characters, not to mention, I would think that a conservative church that they claim to be, would have issue in viewing Harry Potter.
