We have so many hotel choices when we travel, but in 2013 six hotel brands stood out for their commitment to our community, their consistency in service and their one-of-a-kind properties all over the country.
The Standard Hotels, Kimpton, W Hotels, Four Seasons, Thompson Hotels and ACE Hotels all scored a coveted nomination in Best of GayCities 2013 for their “Heavenly Stays,” but only one brand can win.
Vote now for your favorite hotel in Best of GayCities and come back to vote everyday to increase your chances to win a trip on American Airlines.
The last day to vote is Sunday, January 19.
How about we take this to the next level?

I like hotels precisely because they do not feel like home: beds are made nice and tidy before bed, messes never last for more than a day, and delicious meals appear at the touch of a button.

Hotel Russell in London, perfect location across the square to the British Museum, convenient Underground station just half block, even a grocery store just 1.5 blocks, lovely neighborhood of Bloomsbury, on the main Underground line from Heathrow, great for exploring on foot or tube, remember that May is the best time to go to London (great weather, next to no tourists have arrived yet so you can easily see lots of attractions without having long lines – same goes for Paris)

Sometimes hotels that aren’t part of a chain are the most homely, for me. They have a certain charm that chain hotels sometimes lack. That’s not to say chain hotels aren’t homely, though!
