While we’re on the subject of unbelievable things – are we the only ones who sense a little collusion in White House loyals’ responses to Scott McClellan’s new tell-all, in which he blasts George W. Bush and his entire staff. Everyone who supports George Bush keeps saying something to the effect of “That’s not the Scott we knew” or “That doesn’t sound like Scott.” Are they trying to set up some body snatcher scenario?

“That doesn’t sound like Scott.â€
No, honesty doesn’t sound at ALL like him.

Collusion amongst White House loyalists? This White House? I’m shocked! I will be even more shocked if the loyalists start parroting the line that McClellan fabricated/exaggerated the whole thing to sell books. I just don’t know “who” or “what” to believe anymore.

I’m waiting for them to out him and then paint him as a radical homo (when in fact he is just a greedy weasel of a homo who sold himself out and is now trying to make a profit from it).

We elected our president and he deserves our honor and trust. Scott is a turncoat and his words should be forgotten.

Any wagers on when the thugs circling Bush/Cheney White House, bring up Scotty being gay? There is a downside to outing Scotty who will in turn out Condi and Karl. They won’t stop at discrediting Scotty, watch them smear his brother Mark, who was used as a willing propogandist to sell that piece-O-sh*t Medicare D, which was a huge boom to big Pharma.

Their “that’s not the Scott we know” party line is an attempt to assassinate McClellan’s character without making it look like they had had been stupid enough to misjudge him all along. They want people to think that he has somehow lost his mind, rather than come to his senses about their misdeeds and decided to blow the whistle.
This only supports the oft-made contention that dissent or candor are unwelcome within the Bush administration, and only really come to light after people leave and write tell-all books.
I’m not excusing McClellan for his part in this evil regime, but as a PR rep, I recognize the forces at play.

Oh my, Matt Sanchez has made his way onto Queerty and is calling himself RPCV!

“We elected our president and he deserves our honor and trust. Scott is a turncoat and his words should be forgotten.”
Is this comment serious? Blind trust in a President? ANY President? At the risk of invoking Godwin’s Law, you’d make a very good brownshirt. If you want to refute any of McClellan’s points, feel free to do so. But just labelling him a turncoat? That’s freakin’ scary, man.
