Fox News blowhard Bill O’Reilly spent two nights discussing the gay Dumbledore brouhaha.
In addition to chatting with Entertainment Weekly‘s Tina Jordan, Billo also sat down with Dennis Miller. During the course of that conversation, O’Reilly showed his true colors by objecting to the very idea of gay tolerance…

O’REILLY: There are millions of Americans who feel that the media and the educational system is trying to indoctrinate their children to a certain way of life, and that includes parity for homosexuals with heterosexuals.
And that’s what this Rowling thing is all about, because she sells so many books. So many kids read it, that she comes out and says, “Oh, Dumbledore is gay, and that’s great.” And this — it’s another in the indoctrination thing. That’s what the belief system is among some Americans.
MILLER: I’ll be honest with you. I don’t think you can indoctrinate a kid into being gay. You might indoctrinate him into trying it once and him going, “I guess I’m not gay.”

O’REILLY: No, but tolerance. It’s — you know, he’s not going to be gay, but it’s tolerance of it.
MILLER: Good.
Now, we’re never really shocked by Bill O’Reilly. If we were, well, we’d probably be shocked to death. The fact that he’s so proud of his close-minded ideology and would object to other people tolerating gays – a far cry from acceptance – really boggles…

He is a second or third generation Irish-American Roman Cafeteria Catholic. The man is a sterotypic blustery mick with none of the polish of the Yankee Brahmin- whose Anglo Saxon roots usually gives him a more subtle sense of humour.
Regardless of his tough Irish bully personna, the man is simply disingenuous to the core about his fairness and impartiality. He is a devout ideologue of the far right.

Bill O’Reilly is an alcholic, blowhard, disgusting pig. He was an anchorman on KATU in Portland OR in the early 80s– Jesus, what a tool. We used to hang out at a bar called Tuxedo Charlie’s and he used to come in with the guy who did the sportscast. He tried to pick me up once–I clearly wasn’t interested and told my friend, who was a bouncer there, to tell him. Two weeks later, he tried again. My friend ejected him from the club when he raised the proverbial “don’t you know who I am?” tiredness. The man drank like a fish and was whacked out of his mind every weekend. ‘Blowhard’ and ‘tool’ are far too mild of terms to describe this waste of space and oxygen.
Oh, and Bill, if you’re reading this…guess what. I’m bi now and am in a relationship with a woman. I fuck her every chance I get. Doesn’t that just make your conservative skin crawl? Then good…now you know exactly how I felt when you hit on me, you disgusting fuck.
