Finally, Glee is going to stop being so damn gay…oh wait! No it’s not. The show recently added new writers, including two females, Buffy scribe Marti Noxon and lesbian Allison Adler. Will this change the show’s lady-loving to pop song ratio?
The two women will add quite some diversity to the writing staff since the staff has just been three guys since the beginning.
Also we can hopefully look forward them hopefully adding more steamy scenes for Brittanya because one drunken kiss to confessing of love is not working for us viewers. Yes, we need to see more lesbian lip locking and faux sex scenes because who cares about the singing anyways? Although a cover of k.d. Lang’s “Constant Craving” would be awesome.

Love me some Brittney and Santana.

Will they amp up the show’s non-sucky content?
Glee!
I’m gonna live forever.
I’m gonna learn how to fly!

Marti Noxon is the best – bar none – TV writer.
She wrote two superb (queer) episodes of Buffy: the gender-bending “I Only Have Eyes for You”, and the one where Willow goes queer, “New Moon Rising”.
At last, Glee might get some episodes with your actual plot – gasp!
Go, Blonde One!

Marti Noxon is amazing and I’ve had just a little bit of faith restored for season three, after the disaster that two was.

Hopefully they will evolve the female characters into something resembling people and not accessories for the male characters.
Also maybe one of them will tell Murphy to stop making Kurt such a Mary Sue, and giving him “oppressed” story-lines that seem to usually end up insulting some queers (like saying all bisexuals are fake and that all gay men must be camp).
And maybe both of them will tell the other three about consistent character planning and plot development.
I don’t have high hopes.

I really want more Brittany and Santana. I’d also like a true, bona fide bisexual character, not a “bisexual” who is just using it for on-the-way-to-gay.

@Nigel: Don’t forget though, she rubbed freaking Spike + Buffy in our faces for near two seasons when she was the show runner -_- She’s hardly perfect.
THough I do think she’ll bring something good to Glee……… it seems they stopped paying attention to the writing this past season

Lots of respect for Marti Noxon as a writer. Glee needs to amp up the character development & flesh out the plot lines so the show doesn’t devolve like “Brothers & Sisters” has. Bring on the LITs (lesbians-in-training) & the RTBs (really truly bisexuals)!
I also wonder if they’d ever give Jane Lynch a run at a script? She’s got an improv background….but I don’t know if she’d be game or not.

I’m just glad there are new writers. Whatever they do, hopefully it’s for the better.

Anything that pisses off the American Family Council and the religious loons, I support.

This is great news, can’t wait.

Cody. Two things…. It’s either Santittany, and BRITTANA.
Also, I love you.
And…… I’m excited to see what Allison and Marti bring to the dynamic. Marti is one of my favorite writers. I can only hope we’ll get to see some good Brittana development, but more I’m more interested in Santana’s coming out and revelations about Brittany’s bi-sexuality. While we’re at it, I’d like more development for all female characters.

Christ, that last comment was all sorts of messed up. I apologize for A) not logging in, and B) not proof reading.
