Earlier this week we learned that Rosario (Shelley Morrison) will not be returning to Will & Grace to loudly argue with Karen (Megan Mullally), and many a fan of the hit series was disappointed.
Morrison’s performance helped make the chemistry on the show work so well, but there’s another key component that definitely will be part of the revamped series: the guest star.
Over the years, Will & Grace welcomed some incredible guest performers…
…from Ellen Degeneres…
How about we take this to the next level?

…to Madonna…
…to Patti LuPone…
…to Barry Manilow.
InTouch Weekly is reporting a rumor that the series has found yet another beloved guest star…
Winner of the 2017 Queerties Award for “Badass of the year” herself, Former First Lady Michelle Obama!
“The details are still being worked out, but supposedly Michelle is up for anything, as long as it doesn’t cross the line too much,” the report states.
Apparently “crossing the line” is defined as no personal jabs at Donald Trump, which we can live with.
After all, just because she won’t be making any jokes at Trump’s expense doesn’t mean other cast members can’t.
We hope this pans out to be the real deal!
With or without Michelle, Will & Grace returns to NBC on Thursday, September 28.

I think you forgot someone. How about some mention of and some respect for the great lady who played Grace’s mother, the unsinkable Debbie Reynolds?!
Vicki
This article was about people who are alive and not returning to the new series or are alive and not returning to this series. I don’t believe that Debbie Reynolds fits either.
ShowMeGuy
Debbie Reynolds also appeared more than once as the recurring character of Grace’s Mom…..so she was more of a *recurring guest star* and this article’s list was to highlight the list of guest star alumni from that awesome series.
Josh447
Brilliant.

Wake me when they book Susan Sarandon.

I would love to see a return from Matt Damon. Perhaps he’s a cruise ship performer who winds up in a “jacting” class.

Cher .!. ….. The End.
Heywood Jablowme
Yeah, I’m surprised they didn’t even mention Cher, probably the most memorable one.
Juanjo
If Ms. Obama appears on the show be prepared for the clutching of pearls and shrieks of outrage from the usual trumpanzee trolls here and elsewhere. It doesn’t matter what she might do, they will be outraged.
Heywood Jablowme
Melania could be a guest star: one of Karen’s rich, useless acquaintances who sits in her penthouse all day, waiting for her elderly husband’s demise.

@Heywood
you know “Will Grace” isn’t a documentary/reality series right?
Jack Meoff
They better hurry up or else Trump won’t even be president any more by the time Michelle makes her appearance.
GayEGO
Good point!

One can only hope and along with 45 is pence who needs to go.
JessPH
You know what would be ballsy? Asking Kathy Griffin to guest star.
hithere2
Oh snaps to that!
crowebobby
Just bring back Leslie Jordan and I’ll be happy.
Texan78730
Ain’t that the truth! He was stellar. So very funny.
If any member of the Obama clan turns up, I’ll hit the off button as fast as I can. Please don’t ruin this wonderful series with them!
Franklin
I’m sure them losing you as a views is the least of their worries.
GayEGO
But of course! A Texan would say this! At least you did not mention the losing, nauseating 45th’s name!
Terrycloth
Matt Damon was on W&G anyone remember Elton John ? He had a great role ..

Can’t be the first one to think of this, but they HAVE to get Randy Rainbow on the show. He could be a foil/competition for Jack. HY-STER-I-KUL!
