‘Will & Grace’ may end with this devilishly handsome returning love interest

Looks like Will Truman may get his happily-ever-after. Matt Bomer, who plays “America’s hottest gay news anchor” McCoy Whitman on Will & Grace, will return for the 11th and final season of the NBC sitcom, TheWrap reports.

The Magic Mike actor has appeared in four episodes so far, starting in Season 10, when Will (Eric McCormack) played dumb to woo him. Once the guys got past the games, though, they started dating in earnest, and Will asked McCoy to marry him in the season finale.

Also returning for Season 11 are Blythe Danner, who has played Will’s mom throughout the series, and Saturday Night Live’s Vanessa Bayer, who guest-starred in Season 10 as a Trump-hating bakery owner.

Meanwhile, Bomer is also starring in the DC Universe series Doom Patrol, playing gay superhero Larry Trainor a.k.a. Negative Man, and he’ll star in the third season of USA’s The Sinner.

Plus, you’ll see him on Netflix soon: Ryan Murphy is bringing a film adaptation of the Broadway play The Boys in the Band to the streaming service. The actor previously collaborated with Murphy on Glee, American Horror Story, and The Normal Heart. There’s no such thing as too much Matt Bomer, though!
