The results are in, and GayCities history has officially been made.
The site — still the world’s most popular LGBTQ-driven city guide — just announced the winners for The 2017 Best of GayCities Awards, with San Francisco taking gold honors as the “Most Welcoming City” of 2017.
Over 48,000 voters participated, weighing in on 13 categories as varied as best “Travel Instagrammer” to the city with the best “Singles Scene.” (“What’s your poison…?”)
“I’m thrilled to accept the 2017 Best of GayCities ‘Travel YouTuber Award!'” cried Davey Wavey upon learning of the win.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
“We are elated beyond words to learn that New Orleans Mardi Gras has been named the Best Festival Destination for 2017 by GayCities,” said Mark Romig, President and CEO of the New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation, the city’s leisure travel promotion organization.

BS contest as voting participants can’t compare because they haven’t visited all places to be truthful in their choices.

How is it that Vancouver (presumably, BC and not WA) has bronze AND runner-up status in the same category? I’m guessing that Vancouver, WA wasn’t even in the running for anything…but you guys elected an @$$hole as president, so anything is possible.
