Yoko Ono, Opening Cermeony Launch Fashion Line For Naughty Boys

Artist/musician/activist Yoko Ono’s new menswear line for Opening Ceremony is supposedly inspired by John Lennon, but we’re getting more of a Jake Shears vibe. The capsule collection includes tank tops with nipple cutouts, assless pants and a jock strap with an LED light on it.

It’s based on sketches Ono did on her wedding day in 1969, intended as designs for clothing that celebrated her rocker husband’s “hot bod.”

Well, it was the ’60s—scrawny, hairy guys were in.

“I was… amazed at how my man was looking so great,” recalled Ono, 79. “I felt it was a pity if we could not make clothes emphasizing his very sexy bod. So, I made this whole series with love for his hot bod, and gave it to him as a wedding present.”

One lucky go-go boy is going to have a very merry Christmas.
