Yvonne Moore, the woman in such disbelief two persons of the same sex could get married that she went to witness their nuptials herself, is dropping her $250,000 lawsuit against the church she’s attended for 40 years.
Moore originally wanted back the money she donated to D.C.’s Covenant Baptist Church over the years because pastors Christine and Dennis Wiley started officiating gay weddings, but now says she’ll let the issue go.
Not that she’ll ever step foot inside Covenant Baptist again. Which is good, because The Gay is contagious and we’d hate her to catch it.

Is this a repost?

It’s not like she would of gotten anywhere with the suit anyway. She’ll have no problem finding a church that welcomes her homophobic views & her weekly tithe!

This has been posted before. Is queerty on drugs again?
jeffree
There *was* a prior thread about her filing the suit, and this is about her dropping it.

If Queerty actually bothered to watch the videos they post, they would know the lawsuit was dropped months ago.
They talked about her dropping it in the original video. “Yvonne eventually dropped her lawsuit”…

I find it hilarious that the people who consistently complain of Queerty’s supposedly lackluster blogging are the same group who say this on nearly every post they don’t like. Reminds me of the people who threaten to boycott Facebook any time they make any change to the site whatsoever.

PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS
@slobone: LOL~ Excellent!
Jeffree has correctly pointed out this is simply an update on a previous thread. I am going to point out again what again what a hyprocrite driving Miss Hateface is. I am sure that nasty old relic was alive during the time before the civil rights movement when Blacks were not allowed to marry who they loved. Despite living thru and experiencing that whole era she has no problem wanting to deny our rights to marry who we love…………..

It’s always worth reposting any old story that illustrates the epic homophobia in the black community.
That’s the Queerty way!

@PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS: The oppressed become the oppressors.
Now she can go back to telling Fred Sanford to “watch it, sucka”

Dear Mrs. Yvonne Moore,
Stand firm for what is right in God’s eyes, read 1 Corinthians 6: 9, because all who disobey Almighty God will experience his wrath on judgment day Armaggeddon just as it was in Sodom and Gommorrah which is coming soon. So Jehovah God through the apostle John wrote under inspiration the Holy Bible from God the highest authority and the angels in Revelation 18: 4 are saying to you and all who have ears to hear to get out from among them “Babylon the Great” if you do not want to share in their sins or receive part of their plagues.
God is calling honesthearted ones to his visible organization who stand firm for what is right based on the highest authority Jehovah God’s words on earth. His people who are called by his name are united in worship universally and live in peace and love! Prayer and ask the Most High God to direct you to his people on earth today, okay Yvonne Moore
We share the same name.
Best regards,

If you’re suggesting or alluding to Jehovah’s Witnesses being God’s “visible organization” or God’s “people on earth today” -which I suspect you are since I’m familiar with the JW’s bible-babble and buzzwords – they’re the furthest thing from being either.
Jehovah’s Witnesses have a higher suicide rate than the general population. This is largely due to the shunning policies and keeping church members from having any support group should the question the church on any level. I personally know of two JW’s who committed suicide – one who was gay and ostracized by his family, and another who was disfellowshipped (ex-communicated) so that all his friends and family shunned and ignored him simply because he didn’t believe as they did.
JW’s are also disproportionately lacking in education. This is because the church discourages higher education -as one who is educated is likely to leave the religion asap- and they change their beliefs constantly. They’ve predicted the end of the world several times over in the last century. In 1925 they preached that “Millions Now Living Will Never Die.” Problem is… all those people are dead.
And possibly worst of all, the Jehovah’s Witnesses’s are a haven for child molesters. Even when a person JW is known to be a pedophile – the JW elders won’t report it because they’re afraid it will “bring reproach” on God’s name and on the church. Again, I know of this happening to a dear friend who was one of the victims. The pedophile continued to attack since there was no accountability.
At any rate, anyone who is interested in Jehovah’s Witnesses should research these things. One simple Google search will open their eyes.
Now, if you weren’t referring to JW’s – no problem!
Back to your regularly scheduled program!
Sorry to get on my soapbox – but I can’t stand to see wolves wearing “God’s love.”
