@Glücklich: I would love to tell my past self to cut that dumb thing up, granted it wasn’t a ton of cash, but it was a total waste of money. You don’t need a card before 30… Too easy to screw up your credit when you don’t understand credit.

The word “gay” is a short-term form of personal assertiveness which gives you the confidence to go out and find a fellow sexual partner. It has also helped to win legal rights because it’s a form of identity politics, and identity means political power.
However, the word “gay” is still an invention which is counter-productive to male homosexual desire. It “liberates” male-male sexuality through confinement and segregation. It makes it smaller.

I’d say learn to value yourself. I didn’t when I was younger and got involved with guys who weren’t compatible. They weren’t bad guys but we weren’t meant to be together. Secondly – put some money aside for when you get older. Hopefully you’ll live long enough to retire so be smart and SAVE!

@Christopher Hayward: Excellent advice. I have stayed far away from meth and most other hard drugs, and I am not a ho or promiscuous even if a lot of women and men I know are. Yeah sex is fun and all but I don’t really like 1 night stands with women or men (I’m bisexual), and I don’t want to get common STDs like herpes or HPV.
@Gigi Gee: This is also great advice. When I was younger or first starting to date women and men I would get with people who I was not compatible with, or people who I liked who had major issues, and I could have done better but I chalk them up as learning experiences.

@Captain Obvious: That’s true as well. I would tell myself that despite having a credit card that I should learn how to control my spending or that just because something’s on sale, or that it’s something I want it does not mean I have to buy it then and there. Fortunately my credit is excellent, and I do not have too much debt unlike my friends who in their 20s and early 30s decided that they had to have a new car, new TV, the newest electronic equipment, or new computer every few years.
