Ray Gosling, the BBC commentator who admitted to lying about suffocating AIDS-stricken ex-lover Tony Judson, is out of a job: The BBC is cutting all ties with Gosling, who accepted a 90-day jail term in a plea deal. They could’ve at least secured the first exclusive interview withhim.
Admitted to lying?
Ray Gosling originally told the court; “In my heart and in my head I plead not guilty.”
He later changed his plea to guilty.
Well, sort of.
“Digby Johnson, my solicitor, tells me technically I am guilty…”
If the BBC are really saying they won’t work with him again, it doesn’t surprise me – but as it’s a victory for The Maily Mail et al it also depresses me.
