seems like this video might have been inspired by a short with Gaspard Ulliel (by Gus Van Sant?) which takes place is a store in Paris. Gaspard’s character is “taken” with a guy who works in the store and “talks him up” seemingly getting no response from the guy being hit on. When Gaspard leaves the store, another employee asks the guy what Gaspard wanted and the guy says (in English):
“I don’t know. He was speaking in French and I didn’t get most of it”.
When the guy realizes Gaspard was hitting on him, he runs out after him but, Gaspard is gone.
