Editor’s note: We’ve asked online comedian, voice actor and chest hair model Sam Kalidi to create a new meme each week for Queerty readers. This week he takes notice of those clerks opposed to our just-announced victory for marriage equality and the good that comes from their narrow-mindedness. Sam looks forward to all your hate mail. You can find him onTwitter, Facebook,Instagram and at your local glory hole.

What do the GOP (Gaysâ?? Odious Persecutors), the WACOs (White American Christian Oppressors), the BRUTs (Black Racist Urban Terrorists) and all of the other disciples of bigotry, hatred and ignorance have in common? They are all so corrupt and delusional that they actually believe their own sophistry and hypocrisy. Donâ??t forget, Hitler was a Catholic.
The time may come that they have to send in the National Guard; thatâ??s what the federal government did when the pious â??CHRISTIANSâ? (WACOs) in the south defied the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and refused to integrate schools, etc.

Does Something Good Come From Clerks Who Refuse To Perform Same-Sex Marriages?
YES. It gives all of us an opportunity to see exactly who the bigots are. These are the spiritual children and grandchildren of the “good Christians” who opposed interracial marriage, integration, desegregation, and the Voting Rights Act. They are the ones who started all of those private schools down here in the south with cornerstones dating back to 1968-1971, and not all of these schools have the word “Christian” in the title.
These are the people who protested federal money for AIDS research and safe-sex education. These are the people who (still) oppose non-discrimination laws for LGBT in housing and employment; the people who send money to NOM; and the people who were adamantly opposed even to “domestic partnerships” for LGBT folks 15 yrs ago.
These are the people who compare us to pedophiles, zoophiles, and smut peddlers; the people who compare LGBT’s to alcoholics, heroine addicts, and schizophrenics; and the people who think that strapping electrodes to the testicles of 15 yr old boys will somehow cure them of same-sex attraction.
So YES… Something good does come from all of this: exposure.

I like it 🙂

Something good? Well, it does help us identify the worst ugliest bigoted assholes in the country….

Ha! YAAAAAAS!
its showing that anti-gay animus is the only thing these people have to feel “better” than someone else.

How about hire LGBT people to issue same sex marriage licenses? Then will be the issue? Other than that if they don’t do their jobs… fire them!

My non-gay co-workers and elder neighbors LOVE to ask me “Did you hear about…?” and express their disgust for businesses, politicians, county clerks, etc., who are bigoted and using their religion as a cudgel. Every civic employee who opposes equal rights is seen as an idiot.

@SteveDenver: Same here, most people
including most Christians have no problem with Marriage Equality and really resent these filthy bigots.

I really am curious. Since the claim seems to be that issuing this license would violate their deeply held religious beliefs and convictions, or more importantly force them to violate tenets of their faith, what about interest? I mean if someone does not pay a fee owed for say a speeding ticket, and interest tacks on, or interest charges on a mortgage, can a person of an abrahamic faith refuse to apply the interest charge citing their religion citing objections to usury? The argument seems to be that their belief system makes them an island unto themselves that can refuse to follow the laws of a society, so should not they also be allowed to refuse this as well? I really just want to see how long the religious freedom mantra lasts once you refuse to partake in the rituals and mechanisms of capitalism.

Have they ever married atheists? Or people of other religions? You have to wonder. IF they have, they are hypocrites.

@Lance Streeter Edwards: And don’t forget NOM, Noxious Ominous Monstrosities! :>)

@AtticusBennett: And that may secretly be giving them a tummy ache! :>)
