Paul Feig’s all-female Ghostbusters reboot with Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon just got its first official trailer on Thursday morning, and viewers are already speculating about McKinnon’s character Jillian Holtzmann. Two flirty moments in the trailer are particularly sparking excitement among fans, who wonder if they’re about to see that still-rare thing: Not just an openly gay character in a major Hollywood film, but, as Vanity Fair‘s Joanna Robinson puts it, “the instigator of the first-ever gay romance in a summer tentpole movie.”
McKinnon is Saturday Night Live‘s first openly lesbian cast member, and while she’s not necessarily playing a lesbian here, her magnetic performance is certainly inviting speculation, particularly due to one particularly saucy wink and a subtly suggestive smile. Plus, if you need more incentive to be exicted about this comedy, it features Chris Hemsworth as eye candy.
Watch the trailer below and tell us what you think.

this film will be heading towards an pg13 rating and more then likely
either be a 12 or 15 over in England due to the graphic imagery that
was depicted including sexual gestures and heads spinning around
and fetishes of weaponry that may concern parents and probably
be censored in Australia but the trailer is exciting thou.
