My friend who was raised Mormon said that this guy is a rock star among the Mormon communities. They LOVE pointing out the whole "Mormon boy makes good" angle. As far as I'm concerned they can have each other.

My favorite Glen Beck moment was when he exclaimed that he didn't know much about economics, but then proceeded to spout his uninformed drivel for five minutes afterwards.
Seriously, who's into middle-aged pig bottoms that much to give somebody their own show?
Glenn Beck has got to be the biggest douche on television. Can you think of a bigger one? I've actually watched his show, and it's like falling down the rabbit hole.

@Jamie: I suppose it depends on what you mean by "douche." If you mean any fluid used to cleanse an orifice generally associated with body waste, I'd find it very difficult indeed to rank the conservative/religious performers on television.
If cleansing is the point, what they all are doing is cleansing the airwaves of civil, rational discourse and the republican party of any but their ilk.
But man do I get what you mean about Beck. Last night I happened to watch a few minutes of his show, as he used a large blackboard to demonstrate precisely how ACORN is going to illegally access stimulus money, and at the end he demolished his entire presentation by acknowledging there is no proof of anything he was ranting about.
