Locked in grief: The tragic death of Teresa Michelle Gratton
Teresa Michelle Gratton died Oct. 30 while being indefinitely detained in a maximum-security jail by the Canada Border Services Agency. Her grieving family wonders why she was there at all.
She is at least the 16th immigration detainee to die in detention since 2000 and the fourth in the last two years.
