Mr. Safer is arguing against a club policy intended to promote and provide equal access and accommodations to its female members, and has characterized the Garrick’s all-male policy “an inoffensive quirk.”
One wonders if Mr. Safer would likewise defend another club’s “no Jews” policy as merely quirky and inoffensive.
