Anna Nicole Dead!

annadead.jpg
A mere 39 years into a dramatic life, Anna Nicole Smith has died. CNN reports:

Reality TV star and former model Anna Nicole Smith was pronounced dead Thursday after being taken to a Florida hospital, a law enforcement source told CNN.

Smith, 39, collapsed at a south Florida hotel, according to news reports.

“I can confirm that she is deceased. It’s as shocking to me as to you guys,” Smith’s attorney, Ronald Rale, told Reuters. “I don’t know anything further. [Her lawyer and husband] Howard [K. Stern], obviously, is speechless and grieving.”

Smith’s nurse called Seminole Hard Rock Hotel workers at 1:38 p.m. and security went to the room, hotel officials told Reuters. Fire rescue workers arrived within minutes, and Smith was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood at 2:10 p.m

We’re sincerely sorry to hear about this – no, really, we mean that. In some bizarre way, Anna Nicole was America’s Diana. Only on pills…

We only hope it’s not drugs or murder…both of which seem to be the most likely, unfortunately…

      “America’s Diana”? You must be kidding. This gold digging bimbo is to Princess Diana what GW Bush is to Winston Churchill. What sort of people have we become? Her death is a sad affair, as was her life. Maybe at last she’ll find peace.

      what a bunch of asses you are! While I’m very sorry to hear of her death, in no way should she be compared to Diana. Totally ridiculous. Diana was a humanitarian and had class.

      R.I P Anna…. As for this blog-> Anna – “America’s Diana”???… this blog needs to go into rehab. It has truly gone down hill. Fire the writer(s) and email the advertisers to not waste their funds on crap editorials like this.

      But i kinda see it

      America :: Great Britain as
      Anna :: Diana

      (double colons = mathematical symbol for logical relationship “as to”)

      so if America = sleazy and vile, corrupt shitpile…scourge of the planet…a place where Anna is frontpage news on the NY Times…

      then complete equation, rinse, repeat

      I’m genuinely saddened by this. She seems to have had a really horrendous life with only a few happy events in between.

      i won’t get into how exaggerated diana’s “humanitarian deeds” were … but i’d say that anna nicole’s tragic life more closely resembled that of her idol, marilyn monroe.
      i don’t suppose elton will be re-writing any songs in tribute or anything, but there was shock and sadness as the news of her death was passed around my office.
      how disturbing it is to read some of the snarky comments being made on the internets today. what a mean and nasty country we’ve become !
      r.i.p., anna.. at least you aren’t around to hear any more of the crap being said about you. i worry about the fate of your daughter though.

      Anna Nicole had gone through some tough times. She ate pills like candy and on Larry King, China is talking cause she knows pills too. Candy and pills are different, maybe now people going through the termoil of declining fame can realize that.

      Anna died just four blocks from where I live currently (until I make it back to Austin). The local news is acting like mad dogs seeking oxygen…

      It’s very sad, she was going through so much all at the same time.

      But… anybody else think that Howard K. Stern will soon be golfing with O.J. Simpson? Just a thought.

      i’m sorry- but i absolutly have to agree w/ the comment about anna being america’s diana- as a matter of fact, i said that a few mere minutes after i’d learned she’d past.

      it’s quite sad really. i don’t know why i’m so upset over it.

      and honestly- i think that anna was pretty much a big representative of the state that america’s in today… we look up to people like anna- sad, but true.

      anna is was america’s di…

      Lamb Cannon, now is not the time to shill your political agenda. A woman is dead. Let’s let her rest in peace.

      El Polacko, as someone who knew personally of a very big kindness that Diana did for a whole group of people with no publicity whatsoever, I would say that you are full of shit. After she passed, people came out of the woodwork with personal stories of things she had done for them…. none of this made known until after she died. She was a humanitarian on a large scale, as well as on a smaller scale with people she befriended. Trust me, if Diana met you & knew your story, she did everything she could to help you & even maintained contact & friendship… something rare with any celeb, much less a royal.

      I don’t know. Despite of all the bad things people are saying about Anna Nicole, she did do alot with her life.. From topless dancer in Texas to having her own show, being the media starlet..
      I didn’t know that her story until I saw her timeline here.

      I’m impressed. R.I.P Anna Nicole
