Generally, pretty straight men don’t want to do something that will further promote the impression that they are gay. Being a decorator, as such requires a lot better developed sense for exteriority and style, which is contrary to societal masculine norms.
It seems doubtful that he is straight. It’s something that brings in customers of a sort, but most people around him must think that he’s posturing.

Believe it or not, I’m pretty sure he’s straight. I used to work in SOHO and I’d see him around the ‘hood on a regular basis. He’s incredibly sexy in person. Great smile, tall, killer bod, the whole nine yards. I got a total straight dude vibe when I’d follow him for an extra two or three blocks just to watch him walking down the street. No, I’m not a stalker.
