“An incident of gay-bullying has been reported at Pinetown Boys’ High near Durban [South Africa] after a student was allegedly beaten up and dangled by his ankles from a second story building. ‘My son is gay. They (the bullies) came to know this and he was victimised. In one incident they held him by his ankles over a second-floor balcony. He went through a very bad phase because of this and tried to commit suicide,’ his mother, who has chosen to remain anonymous, told The Mercury newspaper. ‘He ended up in rehabilitation and his grandfather decided to pull him out of the school.’” [Mamba Online]
Well, we know this. Anti-gay bullying in schools is very bad here in the UK, which is why the dept of education are (rather belatedly) acting to do something about it.

In before the “In other news: Bears shit in the woods” and “Someone got paid to point out this fact.”
But really, the title is obvious.
·
@Captain Obvious: This is different because its a personal story not a study. I feel for the person that had to go through this abuse.

@galefan2004
I know that, I was mostly focusing on the inappropriate title, rather than the story itself.
To give an example, it’s kind of like titles the following:
Title: Red is a color.
Subject: Brutal murder left walls red.
Title: Garbage is smelly!
Subject: The increase in landfills throughout the world and a search for an alternative.
The title just doesn’t fit and detracts from the article.
