You could say that spotting Christina Aguilera with her Burlesque set assistant Matthew D. Rutler out for a night on the town was evidence that she’s already moving on from her marriage to Jordan Bratman. Or you could read on in this Daily Mail article to see that the pair went out to West Hollywood’s gay bar The Abbey and figure that it was probably just a stunt to drum up buzz among The Gays, whom Christina really, really wants to go see her new movie.
I doubt it’s all just an attempt to reach The Gays. The Abbey has a pretty constant celebrity presence, and generally the rule is that you leave them alone. Going to gay bars is how female celebs can go out and have a good time with being accosted by drunk straight men.

We’re being manipulated by Hollywood, folks. Hollywood is not a gay-friendly place. It’s a place designed by sleazy straight guys for the benefit of their sexual fantasies.
Consider this question: how many gay-friendly movies has Hollywood made lately? I can’t even think of one.

@AdonisFire: She’s actually rarely ever off key (even live). And her voice actually isn’t strained; it’s called belting. And she’s actually one of the most naturally talented modern singers with very developed technical skills and amazing vocal abilities. And the fact that you call yourself ‘AdonisFire’ discredits anything you say.
Anyway, I thought Burlesque was great. Sure, the storyline was kinda predictable.. and it had a fairytale ending. But I didn’t go see the movie to be impressed with the screenwriters. I saw it to watch Christina and Cher be effing fabulous. And guess what – they were.

@AdonisFire: Of key?!?! Are you serious! Something must be terribly wrong with your ears, cause you really need to see ENT!

@Daniel:
The fact your tone deaf ass can’t hear pitch well enough doesn’t mean she sings in tune, she has many performances with terrible tuning.
And no honey, belting =/= straining, straining happens when a bad singer pushes the voice beyond its limits. The fact you stan for her discredits anything you could ever do in your life!

@AdonisFire: i bet you listen to a lot of these younger upcoming artists who rely too much on autotune and you think its fantastic… Pathetic

No sweetie, I listen to real singers…Aretha, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Martin, Minnie Riperton, Natalie Cole, Shirley Bassey, Barbra Streisand, Lara Fabian, Whitney Houston (pre crack), Mariah (early 90′s), Anastacia, Monica Naranjo, etc…
You know, real singers who do not need to strain their heads off to reach the notes as an amateur karaoke singer would :)
Yew mad? LOL, stay pressed
The gutter is that way ————————->
For if you wanna try to find Christina’s career ;)

C’mon Adonis, we could go on forever, Xtina’s got talent (well all this dissing started when her Bionic album flopped, which was awesome in my opinion, and the Lady GaGa bullshit – all of a sudden every female artist is a friend of the gays), whether you like it or not, and we are talking THIS generation. You can say what you wanna say about her, but she still holds her own among the greatest artists you’ve named… Have you listened to her ballads, coz when you say straining, I don’t get it!

I saw the movie last night. I do not care much for the storyline, but have to admit that she is glamorously beautiful and her voice was amazing :) Wasn’t as great as Dream Girls, but worth watching guys and hope you like it too. And I am sure you appreciate Cher :) She’s awesome.
