Constance McMillen Ditches Itawamba Agricultural High School
Constance McMillen, our resident prom queen who’s in the middle of a lawsuit against Itawamba Agricultural High School for prohibiting her from bringing her girlfriend to prom, has transferred schools. She’ll finish high school in Jackson, some 200 miles northeast of her old classroom. She’ll be there just a few weeks: she graduates June 2, and will miss Westboro Baptist’s protests at Itawamba.
Good for her. Hopefully after a few showers she can get the stink of that town off her.

Why would the Westboros be protesting at the school that managed to cleanse their prom of the gays and special ed kids? Seems like they’re perfectly in line with WBC’s beliefs.

Constance wasn’t stoned to death, so of course the WBC still isn’t happy about the whole situation.

Maybe the WBC people bought non-refundable airplane tickets.

It is not useful to look for logic in the Phelps clan’s actions.

I was hoping for something more along the lines of “Carrie”, but this will do. Good luck to you, Constance- screw those backwoods rednecks who will never leave the hell hole that is Mississippi.

On the other posts about this, people pointed out there is nothing that narrow minded bigots hate more than somebody pointing out their bigotry. That is why there is all the anger and attacks on her for “Getting Attention”. Of course they don’t want her to get attention, that would bring attention to their bigots.

Not everybody in the town was against her….but now everybody will get blamed regardless….

Also, Jackson is southwest of Itawamba.
