This conversation between Dan Choi and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand was not staged for the cameras at all! Except, uh, it totally was, but cute nonetheless.

Gillibrand credits a meeting with Choi as the reason she’s become so bound to fighting Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. And they were both there yesterday at the Senate’s hearing on Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. And they are both in love with Adm. Mike Mullen, who yesterday became everybody’s folk hero after being everybody’s villain just a few months ago!
