Did It Really Take This Long for an Underwear Line to Make a Play On Bananas?

To be fair, the new line of Aussiebums is actually made from banana fibre, so it’s not just some cheap excuse to have a model walking through a banana plantation in his briefs while subtly suggesting a whole banana dong theme to consumers.

No, QUEERTY, it certainly didn’t take this long. Here in Europe, it’s been years since a whole underwear brand that uses the same joke in its name, entered the market. It’s called Bruno Banani, and I’m pretty sure that’s not the real name of the designer.
