Don’t F With Gays With YouTube Accounts: FBI Investigating Justin Alesna’s Detroit Gay Bashing

Well it only took nearly a week’s worth of Internet memedom for authorities to get clued in to the gay bashing of Justin Alesna at a Detroit BP gas station, where he says was attacked by a gun-wielding man while the clerk and other customers watched (and laughed) without doing anything. The FBI is now involved and reviewing security footage from the March 7 attack, something we wanted to make sure happened before the BP shop erased it. [Above, Justin's YouTube video that finally drew attention to his assault.]

Really glad to see that the FBI stepped in when local authorities failed to do so – this could NOT have happened without the Matthew Shepard Act.

It hurts I know Justin, but there is still enough beauty in our lives to keep going. Don’t turn it inward which so easily happens to most. Stay strong and keep your dignity and never despair.
