Alleged gay and confirmed former mayor Ed Koch saw a showing of AndrÃ© TÃ©chinÃ©’s The Witnesses. The flick tells the tale of friends in 1984 France as AIDS ramps up its onslaught. Didn’t Koch live that here in NYC? Maybe AIDS is more chic in French.

Wow – any more inside info on the movie itself? Wild Reeds (Techine, 1994) is one of the more beautiful sexual awakening movies I’ve ever seen. This one sounds like it could be equally amazing.
