ELCA Welcomes 3 Lesbian Pastors In The Twin Cities

At St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, a trio of lesbian pastors were welcomed into the clergy. Anita C. Hill, Ruth Frost, and Phyllis Zillhart — who are all in “committed, lifelong relationships,” notes a GLAAD release — have all been ordained in unofficial capacities, but only now is their status recognized by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Congrats, ladies.
