Martin Gill, the Florida man who’s been battling for years to adopt his two foster sons, and who conquered the state’s ban on gays adopting back in October, has finally been granted his legal adoption. Best wishes, gents.
Congratulations to Martin and his Sons! It’s a shame it took so long for the State to do the right thing!
Finally! I remember reading some of the In re:Gill brief and it was a breathtaking moment to hear a judge so compassionate about adoption, whether it came from a gay or straight parent/couple.
