Focus on the Family’s Demise Includes Forcibly Losing Its Ex-Gay Program

Aww, that’s too bad: Facing a $6 million drop in funding from last year, hate group Focus on the Family has to outsource its reparative therapy division. It’s handing over its Love Won Out conference to Exodus International, Alan Chambers’ clearinghouse for ex-gays. We’re going to pass this along to the Federal Trade Commission because really, it’s no fair that Chambers gets to have a monopoly on torture counseling.

There $6 million is only a 4 Percent dip. No big deal! There “Love Won Out” is a good project to sell at this time since it now appears that changing a gay person is no longer accepted as possible, by the psychiatric professionals. The facts are now more apparent that their REAL option is to convince gays that they should remain celibate or deny their true feelings in order to go to heaven. Wonderful choice.

There real hope is that this devastating news will bring in some additional money for other projects and a pay raise for their leaders.
