There is still time to tell Fox News, home of the stupids, whether the repeal of DADT will “affect America’s ability to defend itself.” Now I know there are so many online polls out there demanding your attention, and some Change.org petitions to e-sign, and HRC’s emails are up your ass begging for your clicks, but this FNC doozey is tres important. Because where else do you get an opportunity to tell America that sexual preferences do not inhibit people on the battlefield?

“This is not a scientific poll” Ya Think???? :p
DC Steve
I’m not going to risk giving FOX the ad revenue clicking on that link might generate to vote in some network-sponsored poll.

No internet poll is scientific. I can’t think of any website whose readers are a representational sampling of the public as a whole.
Thom Freeheart
Having said that, I think that 60% if the readers of the FOX website say that the repeal of DADT won’t be harmful says that the FOX viewsers might not all be homophobic haters that this sight and others portray them as being.
Thom Freeheart
The question asked in the poll is “Will Repealing ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ Have an Effect on America’s Ability to Defend Itself?”
60.39% No — Being gay is about someone’s sexual preference, not their patriotism, acceptance of duty and their love of country.
Michael
@Thom Freeheart: The poll was actually much heavier on the “Yes” side until it circulated on websites such as Tumblr. “Let’s annihilate this bitch”, I believe was a quote I read.

Hey, did you hear about the Senate voting to repeal DADT last friday? Everyone is talking about it. Is that scary or what? Or maybe not. What do you think? Let us know.

I went to the evil empire’s site and voted. I also posted it to my facebook profile and requested everyone click and vote.
Fox Disclaimer: This is not a scientific poll...
Except that the average Faux Noise viewer DOES believe their poll results are legally binding. LOL

For as vile as Faux News is, it is still quite amazing that Glen Beck and Bill O’Reilly have been on the DADT repeal side for months, chiding fellow conservatives that they should face the reality that this horrid policy should be done away. Of course FAux News does know how to read opinion polls and such and the changing of their views is more motivated with revenues and profits than doing the right thing.
Also quite amazing, the best and most uplifting pro gay equality effort comes from Fox’s “Glee.” And, of course, there is much revenue and profits generated by “Glee”. Fox’s perennial profit maker “The Simpsons” also regularly makes very pro gay statements and regularly skewers Murdock, Fox in general, and Faux News in particular.
If repealing DOMA could earn Fox profits, they would jump on that bandwagon too.

The first time I saw this poll the results were actually in reverse of what we’re seeing now. Then with greater exposure a lot of non regular Faux viewers started to sway the poll results.
The hardcore Faux news viewer is not a friend of the lgbt community.
Steve
I like how the “Undecided” option indicates the repeal will have a significant effect on our troops. Fair and balanced indeed.

“lifestyle” “preference”
ugh… Someone tell me how Fox isn’t evil?
jason
Sexual preference is whether you like blondes or brunettes, bears or twinks. Sexual orientation is whether you like men or women or both.
David
Haha, the poll is 61% in favor of ending DADT… Backfire much?
Daez
@Thom Freeheart: Don’t confuse this poll with a representation of the “Faux” News viewers. This poll will be completely skewed by the cyberspace crowd much like an online poll should be.
