GOProud’s Assault On Democrats Plays Right Into Your Real Housewives Sweet Spot

GOProud chairman Christopher Barron was likely creaming himself as he hit send on a press release announcing “GOProud Unveils Television Advertising Campaign Targeting Barney Frank, Barbara Boxer and Congressional Democrats.” Because that is what GOProud likes to do: Stir shit up for the benefit of nobody.

With attack ads planned against Barney Frank, Barbara Boxer, and other Dems, GOProud enters “serious propaganda territory,” or whatever social climbing ladder political organizations aspire to. Luckily GOProud didn’t entirely ditch its gay roots: The spot, called “The Real Democrats of Washington, D.C.,” is as catty as it accuses Frank of being.

The ad spot — with an estimated $50k budget — will air in California, Hawaii, Massachusetts and New York. Hopefully during Housewives! (There’s a good chance: The group bought ad time on Bravo and Lifetime). Good to see Sean Bielat isn’t the only Republican unafraid of calling Frank a fairy.

Wow, if that’s the worst the GOP can do, we’re in deep yogurt.

I live in Vegas. GOProud and white,uh, Right Pride will get my attention when they denounce Sharron Angle and her Gay hating financial backers and her extremely dangerous to Gays adviser Zeiser.

Until then, they should just shut the fuck up.
