How Anderson Cooper, Kathy Griffin + Lance Bass Will Give CNN The Gayest New Year’s
With Adam Lambert kicked out of ABC’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, there’s just about no competition for which network will have the gayest countdown: It will be CNN. That’s because, alongside in-house host Anderson Cooper and last year’s Kathy Griffin, Lance Bass will also be stopping by to take part in the gaystivities. We predict Kathy will make outrageous jokes, Anderson will cringe in embarrassment, and Lance will eye-fuck the revelers on the street.

Lance and Kathy have been friends for years. She probably asked AC and/or CNN to include Lance in the NYE show as a favor to him since you’re right that Lance is no draw at all himself.
Everybody hates Anderson but not me, so there’s no way I’m missing this gay explosion. The only thing that would make it better is if Anderson French kissed his hot French bf on live TV at midnight.

I was going to the thing in Hollywood. I thought it was at Universal, but I guess it’s at Paramount, really skanky part of Hollywood. But I got a free trip to Vegas for New Year’s. No matter how many times Anderson’s been “outed”, he never feels any pressure to announce that he’s gay, by now people ought to be able to figure it out for themselves. As soon as Anderson started hosting he added a drag queen dropping in a giant high heel in Key West, then he added Kathy Griffin, and now the two of them are having on Lance Bass. Last year he was “oh, honey”ing Kathy and he lit up like a flaming xmas tree when Kathy mentioned someone looked like one of the Real Housewives. There’s no way anybody at CNN actually thinks people watching their big gay NYE extravaganza are seriously considering the notion of Anderson hankering after poontang.
I am so sick of Anderson Cooper playing it both ways. First of all, his show on CNN is at an all-time low in terms of ratings. Who is he giving blowjobs there too that this is allowed? He doesn’t have the chops to be a legitimate reporter, as hard as he tries and frowns and looks constipated, and he has not balls as a man to admit proudly he is a gay man in love with another man, who happens to own a gay bar and is not another reporter or intellectual.
Kathy Griffin keeps coasting on the D-list crap and laughing all the way to the bank, and she, along with the Real Wives of Hell and that gay guy on the Atlanta version, destroyed Bravo.

CNN is in the dumps for ratings all over. They need to make general changes.
Having it both ways is standard in the news industry. There are loads of people in the glass closet. AC is just the only one who takes shit for it.
Even Shephard Smith actually manages to escape criticism despite doing interviews with major publications like the New York Times and Esquire where he gets tongue baths for being so upfront and speaking the truth. This when closeted Shep has outspoken on air fits about all kinds of controversial things except gay issues or his sexuality and when he answers personal questions by saying he won’t talk about his private life only AFTER he misleadingly mentions a former beard wife.
Anderson and Kathy have the best NYE’s show, go on and pass it up if you must, but I’m going to be laughing my ass off when those two start going at it.

Why is it that so many of the Gays feel it neccesary to piss all over some one who has been 100% supportive of the Gays like Kathy Griffin? Anderson Cooper has been mulling over actually comming out however he is in line for taking over Larry King’s show once he retires, and Cooper has been advised best to wait until after the decision is made to come out. And unlike the vast majority of Gays in public life he doesn’t actually deny the fact and is not seen constantly photographed with a beard whilst having no facial hair! And Lance at least he did come out, unfortunatly his career is kinda sorta ova. But he did buff himself up………..Point being is that there are thousands more deserving of being hated on than these three. Shep Smith was outed in the gay activist film Outrage. That’s the only time I’ve seen anyone give him any kind of hard time at all.

Kathy Griffin is being bashed because being “gay,” or being a part of the GBLT community does not need to be associated with being filthy and disrespectful. All she is doing is misrepresenting and thereby hurting the GBLT community. I consider myself very liberal, and a democrat, but trash does not equal the GBLT community, period. Anderson is a true gentleman and does represent everybody with class and dignity.

OMG! I didn’t know Anderson Cooper, and Kathy Griffith were doing New Years EVE! I was so busy trying to go out and have fun because Adam was being blacklisted that I didn’t think about that. Speaking of Adam Lambert, If you don’t know already there are some really great videos up on Youtube. So far I think the ones by ‘alreference’,and ‘sdlijroller’ are the best. If I find any more good ones I will let you know. If anyone here knows about some good ones please post it here. I will check back. This was better for Adam. He was the Star, and was able to sing more of his fantastic songs. AS for Anderson, please, I love him. Let him do what he wants, and how he wants. I love the dialogue between him and Kathy Griffith.
