That is kind of surprising … but I think I agree with it!
Pierce Brosnan the homophobe? The guy that ruined the film “The Matador” because he refused to play a bi-sexual having a sexual affair with a married man (played by Greg Kinnear). It turned a wonderful screenplay into a confusing and overblown movie.

What is a "Gay Icon" sort of implies that he's dead.
I think Helen Mirren's a bigger gay icon than Brosnan. Sh!t, she's The Queen!

Why are all three of the "gay icons" very bad actors and the three "lesbian icons" stellar?
Not one of them can hold a candle to Sean Connery. Or perhaps there was an over 60 catagory?

Because people whoever they are want to screw him or he makes them forget- take your pick.
Which gays did they talk to to get the nominees?? Old, befuddled ones with little or no eye for acting talent or gay relevance? (except, of course, for La Mirren, who is wonderful in all her ways). This sounds like a Readers Digest list of Ubergays.
1) The link is to the Sun, which is no better than a tabloid.
2) They don't say, but judging by the percentages, it sounds like people only had a few choices.
3) Men, gay or straight, think with their dicks.
4) Helen Mirren is a goddess, talented, smart and still gorgeous.
Pierce Brosnan? Really? That's disappointing.
