We all know why you homosexuals appreciate NFL linebacker Scott Fujita, and only seven percent you can seriously claim it’s because he helped lead the New Orleans Saints to Super Bowl victory. Forty-three percent of you love him because he’s ridiculously handsome. And the other half of you heart the guy because he’s a big gay marriage advocate, and isn’t afraid to talk about it. But now here’s a new reason to fraction your love: He’s opted to donate half of the $82,000 he earned in the NFL playoffs to charity, including supporting coastal restoration post-Hurricane Katrina. He’s so dreamy.

There’s only one thing more alluring than a hunk: a hunk with a heart.

That is what you call a true blue American.

A man who deserves to be called a role model for young men. Simply being a great athlete never put one in that position but this man has integretity in all aspects of his life. My family is on the Gulf Coast. My sister, and many people I know in the region, lost their homes and businesses in Katrina. This man is loved.

Wow, what a thoughtful, smart, talented and caring man.
I know nothing about which organizations give out which awards, but if someone can suggest a suitable honor for him, I can promise to lobby on his behalf!

This is a display of true Christian spirit. Hate mongering “christians” take note.

All the Freepers said they were rooting for Colts because of Fujita — as well as the fact that New Orleans is a den of iniquity.
HAHAHAHA. They lost.

I admit to loving the guy for all the reasons mentioned above but know that shit is about to hit the fan as he leaves our fair (muddy) city for Cleveland. I know I’ll miss having him in the news here (a sports article (outside tennis) that I’ll actually read) but he does have a heart of gold and the testosterone to be a real man. Don’t worry Scott I’ll support you when others try to bash you. But if you’re reading this you could come get my back every now and then.

It’s true …straights defend gay rights….and gays suppress them…

@dk: I think I remember hearing him say in an interview that he was raised as a Buddhist. His adoptive mother is English and his adoptive father is Japanese-American. Whatever, they clearly raised him right.
