Lithuania’s Gay Pride Celebration Turns Into ‘Haze the Heteros’

Lithuania’s pride marched on yesterday, after some annoying back and forth. More annoying than the legal hurdles? The jerks who threw rocks and fireworks at parade marchers, and who had to be tear gassed and arrested by police. S?km?s! Geros kloties!

Gay rights march forward !!! The help of the international community, including several diplomats, certainly helped the cause, and the glare of the media also helped.

*gasp* So not only Africa has homophobes?!

Where are the outraged commenters to call all Europeans homophobic??

Oh wait it’s only a big deal when the homophobes are brown nevermind.

I commended all the marchers. You are brave. You are challenging th anti-gay environment around you and it is worth it.

I’d say at least the police deserve some appreciation.

Yeah it’s their job but even then there’s so many corrupt and homophobic police that would let things like that slide or even perpetrate them themselves.
