To what lengths have you gone to impress a crush? For the Emile Hirsch-directed video for Daft Punk’s “Alive,” boning up on supplements, hitting the Venice Beach gym, and then breakdancing for your life seem about right. Unless you wan to split hairs over the difference between a crush and just someone you admire.
Shirtless guys and homoerotic subtext aside, Emile Hirsch is a big friend of the gays so it’s only fair we support him as much as he supports us.
And I’m with RS. The “dance-off” (“homoerotic seizure fight? Gaga Impression Competition?) was the best part!

Yup, I loved it too. It was really interesting the way they coordinated their dance more and more as it progressed, like they were getting more and more into each other. And then, when it was obvious that “it” was over, they were kind of embarrassed and just looked around (to check if anyone was watching) and walked away. But I thought they might kiss or something, or even hit each other. I wasn’t sure how it would end, except they seemed to gain more and more respect for each other as the dance progressed. Is it just me …

@JKB: If you want to do more than jus think ’bout Emile watch the movie “Woodstock”……..
Emile is in that flick and does a full frontal butt ass neked scene and ya see all of the goods scene in that scene. Was totally suprised ’cause never heard anything about him being nude in a movie like that and suddenly he is totally naked……………..

Homoerotic subtext was minimal on this one…
