You know, when I really get philosophical about it, I tend to want to generalize experiences and make corollaries. Anyway, Couple with the Bush Years, rampant materialism, celebrity obsessions…I have to say Kanye West typified our culture as a symbol of reckless pomp and ego. Making millions solidified his selfish tendencies. I think he and Bush, at least for me, and ironically as diamterically opposed as they are….represent the same motiff…This wanna be techno artiste, for as much as he may declare originality..is woefully far from it…Just like the Beatles, he seeks refuge in India?
