Sean Penn and James Franco hoped to live together to prepare for their roles in Milk, about assassinated San Fransisco city supervisor Harvey Milk. Unfortunately the actors’ conflicting schedules kept them apart. Shame…
Oh god. Yet another movie about a gay person made by straight people; played by straight people; and sanitized by straight people. Guarenteed there will be plenty of violence, but nary a kiss, or mention about Milk’s private life. Isn’t Focus Features the same outfit who made Brokeback Mountain? And it’s head man who refered to the film as, Buttfuck Mountain?

@Paul: I’m pretty sure Gus Van Sant is gay . . .
“I’m pretty sure Gus Van Sant is gay”
Yes he is. And he’ll be well hidden behind the cameras. All the principle players are straight; it’s being produced by straight people.
there are several actors involved in the project who are also gay paul. you do realize that right?
