PFLAG Partners With Johnson & Johnson To Help End School Bullying

Pride month is upon us, and while the season is synonymous with short shorts and strong drinks, it’s also a time to reflect on the LGBT community’s accomplishments and support efforts to build a stronger future.

For the second year in a row, PFLAG has teamed up with Johnson & Johnson to promote Care with Pride, an innovative organization that fights to end bullying in schools across America. The initiative was founded in honor of Jeanne Manford, PFLAG Founder and one of the first supportive mothers to stand beside her son in New York City’s 1972 Pride march.

To contribute to 2013’s Care for Pride initiative, supporters can donate $5 to PFLAG by texting “HERO” to 81550. Johnson & Johnson is totally awesome, so they’ll match every donation, dollar for dollar, up to $150K.
