Philadelphia Gays Get Drenched for Equal Rights, Not Wet T-Shirt Contest

It was cold. It was wet. That didn’t stop hundreds of gay rights advocates from demonstrating at the National Equality Rally in Philadelphia, demanding equal rights across the spectrum: marriage! workplace protections! AIDS funding! military service! health care! Townhall: “Allison Woolbert, who chairs the Interweave gay rights group of southern New Jersey, said she wanted more attention given to health care for transgender people, who she said often are refused care by medical personnel and whose medications are not covered in health plans.”
