PHOTO: Centerfold Jeff “Bears” It All In The New Issue Of Pinups
The new issue of Pinups, the nontraditional gay zine that depicts a single model in numerous revealing poses, is hitting the streets in August, and editor Christopher Schulz sent us a jaunty preview.
The new issue was photographed in the Mojave desert. The approach employed in this pictorial gives way to a collaboration with nature. The landscape guides the photography, acting as framework for each picture while determining Jeff’s positions among his surroundings. Not only does nature play a role in the composition, it acts as a subject. By interacting with his surroundings, Jeff fuses with the landscape, sometimes disappearing into a sea of boulders.
Pinups is purely visual—there’s no text in its 56 pages—but the issue folds out into one big 70″ x 32″ mega-centerfold. Pre-order a copy today.
