Out magazine has revealed more names in the annual Out 100, a diverse collection of LGBT politicians, activists, entertainers, educators and more who captured the spotlight in 2012.
Joining already announced honorees like AIDS activist Peter Staley, Grizzly Bear lead singer Ed Droste, journalist Michelangelo Signorile, and painter David Hockney are power couple Elton John and David Furnish, playwright Terrence McNally, and celebrity scion Omar Sharif Jr. A posse of young Hollywood types—director Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect) and actors Jonathan Del Arco (The Closer), Andy Mientus (Smash) and Michael Arden (FX’s Anger Management)—were honored as a group.
The Out 100 will be available on newsstands on November 20, 2012.
